Woven From The Port

June 12 - August 30, 2026

Solo Exhibition at Newport Visual Arts Center, Runyun Gallery. 777 NW Beach Dr, Newport, OR 97365.

open Wed - Sun 12pm - 4pm

Opening reception Friday, June 12, 5 - 7pm.

This work starts at the dock. The ropes come straight from Newport

Oregon's commercial fishing fleet - lines that have hauled crab pots and reached the end of their working life. I weave them into images of the marine life those same waters sustain, holding the tension between industry and ecosystem without trying to resolve it.
